Florentino A. Ramirez

  • Florentino A. Ramirez joined Ramirez & Associates in upon being admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 1995. He is an experienced immigration attorney and is also skilled in issues of international transactions and all aspects of doing business abroad. He directs the firm’s immigration practice, where focus areas include employment and investment immigration, as well as representing primary, secondary and higher educational institutions with their immigration and employment compliance issues. Mr. Ramirez also focuses his practice on corporate and business entities, international transactions and business formation, employment law and family-based immigration. Florentino practices a broad range of international business, leading the firm’s Latin American practice. Florentino also counsels on the establishment of business entities both domestic and abroad, related labor issues, cross-border trade and transactions, distributorships and marketing relationships. As managing partner for the firm’s Mexico office, Florentino manages the work on foreign investment, domestic and international transactions, intellectual property and corporate matters handled by that office. Florentino served on the Board of Directors for the State Bar of Texas from 2013 – 2016, and presently serves on the Board of Trustees of the Texas Bar Foundation. He has also served as Secretary/Treasurer and Member of the Board of Directors of the Dallas Bar Association, where he has also Chaired the International Law Section of the Dallas Bar Association.
