Professional Background
Upon becoming licensed in Mexico in 2000, became engaged in the area of law regarding intellectual property, first working as an attorney specialist with Mexico’s patent and trademark office, the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (“IMPI”), then with private law firms in Mexico City; and since June 2007, has been engaged in the private practice of law with the law firm Ramirez & Associates, P.C., as the resident attorney in its Mexico City office, Ramirez & Associates de México, S.C.

She is engaged primarily in handling matters related to the protection of Intellectual Property rights, including the registration of trademarks and copyrights, preparation of agreements therefor, and handling litigation of matters related thereto.
- International Trade, Real Estate and Corporate
Counsels on all aspects of doing business in Mexico, including establishment of foreign-owned business entities, related labor issues, structuring foreign investment in real estate and reporting requirements, joint ventures and other international commercial matters.

Handles the applications on behalf of foreign nationals for work and investor visas involving Mexican-owned and foreign-owned employer/investment entities.
